Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's journey in combat sports began at 14 years old. Aspen Ladd trained in BJJ, kickboxing, boxing, and wrestling prior to her debut as an amateur at WCFC aged 18. Ladd was able to take down three opponents consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated were finished within the first five minutes. She then went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was able to hand Aspen a unanimous defeat and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's career as an amateur. Ladd won her next fight in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to make her debut as a pro. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the the first round via TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, She won her next bout against Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen's superior wrestling skill defeated McGill as she was able to end her third round by TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen was then able to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight however, Aspen won and beat Hoy with a TKO. As for her final fight for the promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks by an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Her UFC debut came in UFC Fight Night 118 when she faced Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina and ground-and-pounded her in the second round to secure a TKO victory. Then, in her third fight she beat Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd took the win in the first round and received the Performance of the Night bonus. Her first major fight came during her subsequent fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous decision and her Fight of the Night award was awarded to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya lost in the third at UFC 7.7 on ESPN. In her recent fight for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. She lost the fight via unanimous decision.
